Excelente lugar, a la par del mae, elegante, bellisimo, con buena atención, una galería de arte, decoración Excelente. Me parece de los mejores o el mejor lugar en Puerto Viejo con bastante elegancia y belleza. La comida es muy rica, tal vez las porciones no tan grandes pero suficientes y el mar a la par inigualable. ~ Ignacio G

I stopped for dinner at Gigi O Beach Club and had a fantastic experience. The setting is spectacular, and the entire restaurant overlooks the beautiful beach. The menu is great, featuring a range of local and international dishes. I opted for their Chicken Caesar Salad, which was delicious. I thought the prices were very reasonable for the quality. The service was also impeccable, and everyone we spoke with was friendly and attentive. If you’re looking for somewhere for dinner whilst in Puerto Viejo, I would highly recommend heading to Gigi O Beach Club. ~ Joel P

We had such a spectacular time at the restaurant. Our waitperson Jey was absolutely the best. Not only was her service great, she took the time to tell us all about the area, introduced us to the local sloth, Samatha, and took time to explain the money and where to go in Panama. The food was also exceptional! We had the Yucca fries, the fish of the day which was Marlin and cooked perfectly, and lava cake with coconut ice cream. All this and on the beach with a beautiful view to boot. We will be back! ~ Sydney A

Comida = Gran sabor, delicioso, buena presentación. Servicio = sirvieron en buen tiempo, atentos y amigables. Ambiente = tranquilo, sereno, a la par del mar, se disfruta. Estacionamiento = reducido / pequeño. En general yo lo disfrute, un hermoso lugar para pasarla bien. ~ Jonathan V

I stopped here for lunch after doing the jaguar rescue ended up having the best pasta of entire life 😋. I tried their tomato basil and cherry tomatoes pasta 10/10 recommend It had a amazing flavor the cherry tomatoes with a bite of pasta would just burst flavor into my mouth. My bf had their bacon pasta tasted like a fancy hot pocket VERH GOOD. The view was amazing right over there ocean very clean environment and good service too (they also have good fries 😂) ~ ingrid v

Highly recommend! The first time we went there just to have a drink and a little bite to eat. The spicy golden berry, the yucas bravas and the camaron tempura were absolutely delicious. So we came back for diner. The pulpo was one of the bests I have ever tasted. The tataki de atun, the curry caribeño and the estodado de cerdo were also very good. Plus, the location right at the beach is just so beautiful and the service was also great. ~ Francesca

I had lunch with my family this afternoon, it was 7 of us. They were very accommodating with the seating arrangement. Our male server was very nice, kind and polite. He made sure we’re were happy with what we had ordered, and kept asking if we were ok. The fish we ordered was delicious. When I return from Las Vegas I will definitely come back. Also, I loved how clean the bar area and restrooms were. Highly recommend this place. ~ Gloria L

Awesome dining spot, on the beach, with a range of culinary options. I dined here twice for early dinner (around 4pm). The first time, I had the red snapper and creme brulee for dessert. The second time, it was garlic & herb lobster with chocolate lava cake for dessert. Both meals were delicious. On top of the good food, you have the relaxing beach-front atmosphere and a grooving DJ. The heart and soul of Puerto Viejo! We went multiple times throughout our stay. The food is absolutely incredible, we could eat it all over again! Great drinks on offer to suit all. The service was friendly and attentive. After dinner events were really engaging, the live singers/dancers/ DJ really got the crowd going but still felt intimate and welcoming. Special mention to Klaus who made our trip! :) ~ Mia N

Super agradable el lugar, servicio atento y personalizado. El lugar tiene mucha historia, era el antiguo Stanford, ahora renovado con nuevo nombre, ambiente y delicioso menú. Beach side..!! ~ Eric B

A very atmospheric restaurant on the seaside with lots of shade and fresh wind from the sea. We sat on a platform half above the beach with a great outward view. We just ate some bocas or appetizers such as the sticky fingers, albondigas and the yucas bravas. To finish it of with a crunble de manzana y pina. We ate ours fingers. Would strongly recommend eating at this place. ~ Leo B

Best rice and beans in town! The Caribbean sauce on the chicken was heavenly, and the drinks were also delicious! Great service, very friendly and accommodating staff. Wonderful atmosphere — the restaurant overlooks the Caribbean, and there is even a special little table overhanging the ocean beside a large, beautiful tree, perfect for a romantic date. Waren abends für Cocktails dort. Alle Mitarbeiter sind super freundlich und die Cocktails waren sehr lecker & preiswert. Wir konnten sogar ein Faultier über uns im Baum beobachten. ~ Johannes

Nos encantó el lugar!! Cerraba temprano pero pudimos llegar a tiempo. Allí intentan resaltar la cultura afro dentro de Puerto Viejo y su presencia desde hace años e influencia en la cultura costarricense. Al lado del restaurante hay una exposición de arte que puedes recorrer, es obra de fotografía y poesía. Hasta podes dejar tu propio poema y leer los que la gente ha dejado antes!! Además cantaron dos mujeres de una manera fabulosa! Pedimos pulpo a un precio super económico en relación a Argentina y estaba MUY BIEN HECHO. Perfecto! Hemos disfrutado muchisimo de este restaurante. ~ Melina M
